This is another fo those not really want to talk about problems.
But watching an enzyte commercial has made me think.
Women and men who a diabetic often go through these dry spells.
ITS NORMAL

ok so I said it.
The reason its normal is due to a few factors.
On both ses its due to stress, overthinkinga nd physical effects.
Stress is well caused by anything. It can come from worry abotu anything to just thinking about making out.
So stres sis a really big factor.

Then we come to the physical factor. This can ceom from elevated Bg levels, elevated Ketones, the begining of a cold coming on.
In men it can be compounded by neuropathy.. yup guys get that down there. To irregualr blood flow,,as we all remember diabetes can cause cardiovascular complications.

IN women we can experience yeast infections, which are in some strains communicable to our partner. We can expereince dryness.. elevated glucose or spikes can do this, tiredness.

In both it can be the coming on of a cold or flu or other common illness, it can be due to hunger, or as simple as insomnia or other things that prevent thebody from reacting.

IN any case these expereince often pass without serious incident. If they continue you shodl really seek help. But we all, diabetic and non diabetic go throughphases where intimacy comes in different levels. if one level doent work, go to another.
If thatd oesnt work call it anight make some coco and go rent a movie and no matter hwta , just learn to really enjoy each others company until you two are in sync again.

I don't know if this is too personal to mention so I'll try to keep it discreet.

My partner has a genuine interest and is always ready (mentally) and I mean always.
His equipment is what has the problem. His member works like normal except it isnt firm at all.

His clinic doctor wrote him and expensive prescription to aid in his firmness. These blue pills are over 11.00 dollars a piece (lol, we only bought one dose at a time) and we tried them a couple of times and they work a treat but it is something we can live without.

We are still able to take care of each other and we understand each others qualities and needs.

My hubby is not diabetic but he wants enzyte.........
I am not so sure... actually it kind of scarees me.
Once he goe sn insulina nd gains BG control back to a nromal level and enjoys eating and being again,, ED from blood flow should return. I was reading an article in Diabetes health on it and many men go through patterns of it. I know hubby gets like that on ocassion and so do I.

Mt grandparents were both svere diabetci byut were afaraid of shots.. so they staye don oral meds and there was always talk of one or the other not beging on teh mood or not abale to " do ther job" hehehe.

I applaud you and your guy for being able to work around it.....

Oh dear God why did I open this thread:eek: :o

I had a slight problem a few years ago due to one of the BP meds I was on, once that was stopped everything returned to normal.

Never did bother me from the diabetes but have heard that once blood glucose is normalized things return to normal.

Running away from this thread now.....*poof*

Hehe. Why are you running away. It's not that bad!

I'm anxious for my partner to get back to the doctor and redo his medication. His sugar is still too high sometimes and we need to fix this.

He was diabetic before I met him but has not been on the shots that long, just since last year ish.
