hubby and I found out that if you ndulge in something make it low carbm, delicious and satisfying. Something that not many dsserts offer. This is an alomost nightly dessert during teh summer.
Also the yf discovered that teh higher the calcium in your doet the more weight you can manage. I thought I was a loa dof bunk but its true!

bannana Split

1 small banana. The type thats bagged are often tiny and are cheaper. Dont but the mini varaieties just teh chaper smaller bannanas.

2 scoops Blue BUnny or Breyers Low carb style ice cream
hersheys sugar free Choloate syrup drizzled on top
2 tabelspoons Smuckers sugar free or low sugar Strawberry JAM diluted wit a bit fo water. You want the jam for the fruit pieces
Real whipped CReam topping splurched on top of all of that
1 marachino cherry if desired

eat, enjoy and dont feel guilty.
Warning this makes a rarher large serving. Usually hubby and I split 1.
If you following serving sizes on ice cream container and use teh smaller bababas 1 sundaue is euipvenet to about 27 garns of carbohydrate, 6 grams of fiber~!

It has been absolute YEARS since I've had a banana split of any kind... this sounds fabulous.

Interesting idea. The hot fudge sounds very good. I recently found some canned fruits, specifically pears and peaches, that use Splenda now instead of the heavily sugared syrups. I'm sure that doesn't necessarily mean that it's a "safe" food for everyone, though.

I havent seen canned fruit yet here made with Splenda. I ahve been substituting bread for fruits for the past few weeks.
And I ahvent had pears in a hwile. Normally O dont crave them butthey sound so good, espcielly when smothered in extra sharp cheddar cheese...........

The cans I had were a store brand manufactured locally. I was really surprised to find that they really did taste like pears and peaches in heavy syrup.

When I saw you mention Hershey's Sugar Free Syrup I though, Huhhhh?

I remember buying some pancake syrup that was sugar free also.

So as an option to this recipe I'm thinking we could dabble some pancake syrup onto one of the vanilla icecream servings and maybe put some pecans on it. I guess this would still be an OK choice?

PS. I have not seen sugar free chocolate syrup in any of my stores. I've seent they are fat free, but not sugar free.
