LOVE This Time of Year!

This is my absolute favorite time of year... cool air, beautiful leaves, holidays getting close, hot tea and a good book under a quilt... anyone else?

Aesthetically, sure--but it is also the time of year that I always get a persistent cough that lasts for weeks and nobody has ever been able to give me a medication that works for it.

Allergies? If that's what it is, I'm usually hit with them pretty badly in late September, too... but just for the last few years. I never had allergy problems growing up.

Allergy medications don't seem to work for it. Not the usual antibiotics. I have been wondering if it might be a mild form of asthma. because asthma is very common in New Zealand but now I am in the US the doctor might not think of it.

Good thought, and it's surely worth looking into. I heard a television interview this morning about tea. They were mentioning which teas where good for which ailments and asthma was one of them... I'm sorry that I didn't listen well enough to remember which tea it was, but I'll bet the list is available online somewhere.

Yeah this time of year is usually very good, but i would stick with my computer and do the usual things i do at all time of the year.
