Is there any exercise that you would recommend for a diabetic?

Probably the answers here would be things like walking, treadmill, basically whatever the health care provider says is alright for that particular patient. Exercise is important.

I walk all the time. Its an easy exercise and its something you can pace yourself doing. Plus it gets your blood pumping.

Walking is a super low impact exercise to begin with. I usually do around 4 miles a day in around 50 minutes so it's a pretty good workout. Maybe some light resistance/weight training to build some lean muscle which definitely helps with insulin sensitivity. Cycling is also another great exercise and fun as well.
As always, your physician should be consulted if you're seriously out of shape or have any other health factors.:)

Yeah i think so to. It gives me a great control over my workout and whenever I get tired I can just stop and not be overly done!

I especially like walking at this time of year when it starts getting cooler and there's a bite to the air. When it gets icy it will be a different story, though.

Any exercie like brisk walking, jogging, a game of tennis, swimming etc that gives you a good sweat and work out is recommended. At the end if you are exhausted mildly that's even better.

This is one reason why I like walking so much, because the pace can be controlled. I can slow down when I'm overdoing it, or make it more intense if needed.

I would usually stick with simple exercises like swimming, joking and walking. They are very simple and they are very much useful for diabetic patients.

I think that whatever gets you to breathe a little harder, and gets your muscles to work a little harder than usual, would be fine.

the key is to do it FAITHFULLY
