Does anyone know of any kind of program to help those of us who are recently diagnosed with diabetes and have no medical coverage? This is costing us a fortune in medical bills and supplies and my husband can't enroll in the insurance program until October and it won't even kick in till November, that is if it covers me at all now since this will now be a pre existing condition. I tried the Montel Williams program and they havent responded and I am almost out of the samples of Acto plus Met that the Dr gave me. I can't afford the $165.00 rx refill. Now I am worried because we are finally getting the readings under control as they were way out of wack up till a few days ago. I have lost 15 pounds which is really scary as now I only weigh 88lbs. My counts were way into the "check keytone" level and can't afford to not be able to refill my rx. If anyone knows of any other programs please let me know.:(
