So heer I sit.. not being able to eat bread.. and hungry
I ahd a box of Special K high Pro cereal. Its a bit blander than Product 19. So I made a mix of cereals.
Take a really large airtight container. Mix:

3/4 small box Special K hgh Pro with your choice of:

1/4 small box Product 19, special K,honey nut flakes etc...
1/4 small box Pebbles fruity( fruit loops etc)
1/4 small box frosted chex
or dried fruits
by adding the minute amount of sugary cereal you add sweetness but not too much.

Barley, teff, quinoa and amaranth are delicious low glycemic, whole grains that can be cooked ahead of time, refrigerated and just pulled out and used as cold cereal when you've got the craving. Barley and quinoa cook up in individual grains, so they're more like boxed cold cereals. Teff and amaranth cook up like more of a mush, but can be sliced and chunked and put in a bowl with some kind of milk (i.e. -- almond milk) and they're really tasty and nourishing. Amaranth needs a little more seasoning to suit our tastes, but it's very nourishing and worth the effort. You can season with all kinds of different seasonings: cinnamon, coriander, cardamon, vanilla extract, orange flavoring, chopped apples, dried fruit (apricots, raisins, etc). Stevia is a great sweetener and has no negative consequences in our bodies. It's natural -- from a plant in South America.... 1/4 tsp is equal to 1/4 cup of sugar. Be careful not to use too much, or it will be bitter. We usually eat these grain "cereals" hot, but have found that they taste great cold, too.

Surprisingly they are quite tasty. When you hear the names and descriptions of them you wouldn't think it would actually be good but it is and it is healthy.
