Urine Glucose Testing in Diabetic Dogs and Cats

Certainly, urine glucose levels do not provide the accuracy of a blood glucose value, but there still are situations that warrant checking a pet’s urine glucose. Whether it is because a pet owner can’t physically manage a glucometer or if a cat has gone into remission from diabetes, I do still think urine glucose monitoring (http://www.americandiabeteswholesale.com/product/purina-feline-urinary-glucotest_2301.htm) has a place in managing pet diabetes.
