PG Glucose Meter on the way? Procter & Gamble Co. has agreed to invest $325 million in a joint venture with Inverness Medical Innovations Inc., to develop and market medical-diagnostics devices. Inverness has made Glucose monitoring devices for major companies and currently makes the PocketChem UA a hand-held urine analyzer, that tests for glucose, ketones, bilirubin, urobilirubin, pH, protein, blood, leukocytes, specific gravity, and nitrites.
