When I was first diagnosed I found that the dollar store was my best friend.. they had the measuring cups, a cheapo scale, nice small size plates.
New kitchen utemnsils really helped me ot stay in control. An dI use dteh sammler size plates so it woudl appar the the reduced portions were actually bigger. IT WORKED.....
I still use that trick to this day. Everyone else eats on big plates I used the salad plate for my dinners....
I also bought a few of those fancy noteboosk and pens that I kept on teh counter with my Glucoseunit. Everytime I could go by the fridge or into the kcthen to cook it reminded me to test........ and write down what I ate.
